These photographs were made out of time spent with my Grandma Rose, documenting her good days, bad days and in-between. As she has grown older the difficulties in the ability to leave her home has increased. Like many homes, hers is filled with items of sentiment and photographs of loved ones fill every empty space that once was and I began to see the home as an extension of her and the life she has lived.
In the past, I have been quite naive, only seeing my Grandma as who she is now, not as she was when I was a child, or even considering how she was as my father's mother, or as a wife and so on. Her past selves are still very much present in the Grandma I have been blessed to know now.
